Rules for using the inquiry form, the “Quote online” calculator and the order progress page on cnc.frei-light.com.
This is an English translation for information. The Polish version is binding.
§ 1. Who operates the website
The website cnc.frei-light.com is operated by FREI Tomasz Frej, ul. Hutnicza 3, 81-212 Gdynia, Tax ID (NIP) 7393097476, e-mail cnc@frei-light.com (hereinafter: FREI). The website is intended for companies that commission CNC machining.
§ 2. Services on the website
FREI provides three services by electronic means, free of charge:
- “Send a part” form: submitting contact details, a description and files (drawings, models) in order to prepare a quote.
- “Quote online” calculator: a price per piece based on a STEP model, material, quantity and lead time. The STEP file is read in your browser and reaches FREI only after the form is sent. The calculator prices the first three files without any details and shows the price of further files once you enter your full name, e-mail and phone and click the confirmation link we send to that address; these details and the quote result are sent to FREI (Privacy policy).
- Order progress: a page under a private link from an e-mail, showing the stages of order fulfilment, without creating an account.
§ 3. Technical requirements
All you need is a device with internet access, an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled (the STEP calculator also needs WebAssembly) and an e-mail address. One inquiry can include up to 10 files, each up to 50 MB, up to 150 MB in total, in the formats STEP, STP, IGES, X_T, SLDPRT, SLDASM, DXF, DWG, PDF, JPG and PNG.
§ 4. Conclusion and termination of the agreement
The agreement for the use of a given service is concluded when you start using it and ends when you stop: for the form, when the inquiry is sent; for the calculator and the progress page, when the page is closed. You can stop using the website at any time.
§ 5. Rules of use
You must not send unlawful content or files containing malicious software. By sending files, you confirm that you have the right to submit them for quoting. FREI uses the files solely for quoting and fulfilling the order and does not share them with other companies. On request, FREI signs a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before quoting.
§ 6. Quotes and orders
The calculator result and the prices shown on the website are for information only and are not an offer within the meaning of Art. 66 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code. The binding quote is the one FREI sends by e-mail after reviewing the drawing. The calculator’s lead time, standard or express, is counted in working days from the order confirmation; the lead time in that quote is binding. We fulfil the order on the terms of that quote and of the order confirmation.
We give prices in Polish zloty or, on request, in euro, US dollars, British pounds or Swiss francs. Prices in a currency other than the zloty are converted at the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland (NBP), taking currency risk into account. A calculator price in such a currency is current for 7 days, and a quote in such a currency is valid for 7 days from when it is sent.
§ 7. Complaints about website services
If the website does not work properly, write to cnc@frei-light.com and describe the problem. We reply within 14 days. Complaints about manufactured parts are handled under the terms of the order.
§ 8. Personal data
The rules for processing data and cookies (including the remembered website language) are described in the privacy policy.
§ 9. Final provisions
These terms are available free of charge on this page and can be saved or printed. We announce changes on this page, and changes do not apply to inquiries sent earlier. Matters not regulated here are governed by Polish law, in particular the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means and the Polish Civil Code.
